Thanks for sharing from your heart! It seems like you are going through what He's been having us go through too...trusting Him and His plan...even in the midst of chaos. I ask myself, why do I even try to figure it out? He knows best and all I really want is HIS will. I find that when I just keep my eyes on Him then I have peace. You are right...thanks for reminding me that the "vision is yet for the appointed time" and that it "will not fail". I needed that today!! Thank you!

Wow! Amazing that you posted on this subject of "indecision". I use to not be that way, but lately I have found myself right in that indecisive spot...about many important things. I think mine may be from fear (yes, that is indeed from the evil one) of making the wrong choice. I only want God's will for our lives...and not having that lightening bolt or writing in the sky makes me feel unable to make the decision on my own. I am really trying to get over this, but whew...it's a challenge. Thank you so much for the encouraging words...I needed them! Have a blessed day!

Thanks for sharing this! I sometimes think I am the world's worst for meeting everyone else's needs...at the expense of my own. Many times I feel like I'm in a whirlwind because of this. It's no wonder my stuff is not completed. I think that word "disciplined" is the key!!! After all, there is a time and a season for everything.

Thanks for sharing this! I find myself many days facing the same...something or someone that needs my attention/care vs. my interior design business (and the never ending "to-do" list!) that seems to have a voice of it's own. I, like you, lay down the work for the "serving" all the while feeling the stress of the other undone tasks. God does indeed always seem to make it all work out when we attend to HIS business first. This is something that became crystal clear to me several years ago. Instead of beating my head against a wall, I would give God my dreams and goals. The most important action in receiving God's gifts is to open yourself up to the possibilities.
God gives us talents and it is up to us to use those talents and not let them get lost in the day to day grind. Every day I open myself to the possibilities and they just keep coming.

Great reminder Karen. For me it's not just about creating the silence, but also appreciating the silence when it just seems to happen to me. With the downturn of the economy it's been slower then usual. I try to remember to appreciate this time as a period of incubation and not get stressed trying to "make things happen". Difficult at times, but so rewarding when I am there. It's been such a time of creative growth outside of my work, and will feed my work for years to come!
